Who We Serve

We believe that our outreach programs should be more than just another colouring book. Kidzsmart is your spokesperson when it comes to connecting with kids and supporting family health and wellness.

For over 20 years we’ve worked with the healthcare, government, and education sectors, as well as with major global brands in the sports, restaurant, hospitality, travel, and tourism industries. We’re dedicated to helping our clients to achieve their outreach goals through edutainment, from start to finish.

Our Pillars of Family Health and Well-Being

Guided by a design thinking process, the community outreach programs we create are defined by the following five pillars:

  1. Emotional & Mental Health

  2. Physical & Nutritional Health

  3. Creativity & Curiosity

  4. Environmental & Social

  5. Family & Community

Our Story

We are the spokesperson for our clients who work directly with kids and families.

Our journey began with the restaurant industry, creating fun colouring placemats that you probably remember from your own childhood. But throughout the years our company expanded, and our outreach programs expanded with it too.

Our range of clients grew, and soon we were catering to companies and organizations in the government, healthcare, education, professional sports, and travel and tourism sectors too.

We understand the importance of preventative health and wellness for kids and families. We strive to maintain our values of practicing positive attitudes towards physical and mental health, promoting academic excellence, celebrating diversity and inclusion, and most importantly… fun!

Meet Our Leadership Team

  • Ambrose Hong

    President & CEO

Ambrose brings business acumen and brand building expertise from the investment funds world. Though his true love is in authentic creativity, aesthetically pleasing design, and a good race car colouring book.

  • Jasmine Kafka

    Director of Strategic Accounts

Jasmine loves to learn about what makes your company special. Her organizational skills and ability to “get things done” ensures expectations are exceeded and deadlines are never missed! She values good conversation, especially over a glass of wine.

  • Daniel Asel

    Creative Director

Daniel has been working with kids and family content for over 15 years in print, digital media, and television. An avid soccer fan, he can be spotted on the pitch with his chief product tester and tiny art critic, his son.

  • Darren Paul

Director of Business and Partnership Development

Originally hired as a cartoonist at Kidzsmart over 20 years ago, Darren has worn many hats. A busy family man, he still makes time to create a racket with his garage-rock band, and collect View Master reels.

  • Pierre Gilbert

    Director of Project Management

With 20+ years of experience on both the agency and client side in print and design, Pierre will get you data-based results all while helping you achieve a stellar golf swing… provided you can understand his French accent.

  • Stacey Hamilton

    Art Director

A master at making it “kid-like”. From concept to delivery, Stacey is at her best when shepherding our clients’ design and brand integrity, ultimately bringing the vision to life. What’s really amazing is she does so while holding a pencil upside down.

  • Evon Tsang

    Director of Accounting and Administration

Evon is the master of the Kidzsmart universe. With a keen eye for systems, she does it all – from budgets to business strategy, and she can dunk. You name it and Evon will have it under control.
