Kidzsmart was tasked to make the information within these booklets fun and engaging demonstrating diversity, inclusion, and empathy.
All too often, conversations about health can cause kids to switch off. The various messaging needed to be presented in a fun and participatory way and the points needed to be communicated through relevant game and activity content. Edutainment worked particularly well for this.

The Solution
Kidzsmart created various community outreach programs that engaged kids with tough subjects. Whether it was explaining seizures in a kid-friendly way, or offering recipes for healthy snacks, the content had to live across various forms of print and digital media – and resonate with children.
Additionally, the content needed to be designed to be informative and connect with parents and educators, as these stakeholders are often the primary change agent when it comes to family health and wellness.
Across the board, the edutainment based programs were intended to help kids build awareness, self-esteem and encourage open communication by creating health-themed activities and problem-solving.
The Results
With our commitment to quality, the community outreach programs were designed to connect with kids and families through creative mascots, representation, inclusion, game play, emotional intelligence, and well-being. Kidzsmart worked with organizational and community resources to effectively speak and engage with their audiences, ultimately providing a guide for parents on approaching tough conversations about family health and wellness. Understanding that every child is different, the programs effectively communicated support, guidance, and empathy – allowing our clients to achieve their community goals. From hospitals and medical offices to governments and schools, the programs reached thousands of families and spoke to children in times of need.
