The Waterloo Playbook is a branded take-home piece for soccer families to enjoy. The content and games are specific to Waterloo’s values and feature various skill-building and goal-setting activities. With an overarching theme of inclusiveness, families will immerse themselves in both the booklet and Waterloo’s local community culture.
We are so excited to hear that Waterloo United announced its partnership with the German giants, Borussia Dortmund (BVB 09). They have become a part of the BVB International Academy America family. This prodigious partnership brings new and exciting facets to our competitive programming and will offer amazing experiences to our competitive teams and individual players. All of the above is part of growing the brand and the game in the emerging Canadian soccer market.
The Goal
Waterloo Minor Soccer Club were looking for exclusive content to share with their summer camps and approached Kidzsmart after seeing our other successful family programs. The Playbook offered Waterloo a unique opportunity to extend its values within the community through educational content.
The Challenge
This Playbook aligns with WMSC’s philosophy of providing a positive learning environment and vision of educating youth on healthy living and an active lifestyle. The book content enhances the club member’s experience by building skills, setting goals, and having fun. There is also a QR code featured on the backlinking directly to soccer registration. The Playbook encourages the connection young fans have with their team, building loyalty that lasts into adulthood.
The Solution
Engage participants after leaving the field by offering content that promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, all while reminding families of their positive experience with Waterloo Minor Soccer Club (WMSC).
